that's so hard.

it's good that she knows that you all love her and that she loves you, though.

my grandfather had some sort of memory issues (i'm not sure if it was ever diagnosed), and i can never decide if i'm sad that i didn't live closer to him in his final years (minnesota to michigan is not a short way) or relieved that i didn't have to deal with much of it.


Have I mentioned that Alzheimer's terrifies me? Well, it does. I'm hoping they come up with a cure for it before Mom gets it. And I'm REALLY hoping they come up with a cure for it before I get it.

from your lips to somewhere where it'll do some good, i hope. my dad is already slightly flakier than he used to be, and i just went off of effexor because it was giving me aphasia and i just couldn't deal with that; i already watch myself all the time to see how i'm doing on the whole marble count front.
