Agreed. There is a progression -- don't think it; if you must think it don't say it; if you must say it don't record it; if you must record it don't share it. As soon as you're on that path, you bring the risk that it will get out of your control. So writing it down, even if he didn't intend anyone else to see it, was still a problem.
