A quote from the news yesterday.

The United States lodged a formal protest against North Korea, after four of their interceptor planes attempted to drive off a US reconnasance plane. The four planes got within fifteen meters of the US plane, and locked on their weapons with radar, but, according to the US, "did not act aggressively."

I know that the North Koreans are just trying to get the US to respond, but I wonder exactly what they think radar lock-on is if not aggressive.

According to the New York Times, the US plane was in international airspace.

There was a hilarious article in The Onion ("America's finest news source") a few weeks ago which made this point. Sigh...
