In your previous post about the wedding, you mentioned that you had done a lot of research regarding alcohol policy and laws in Malden. I believe the wedding reception in question was actually held in Medford, a mile or two west of the Malden/Medford line. If you really mentioned Malden in your customer communications (I'm not sure if that was deliberate obfuscation on your part or just an error in your LJ entry), that may explain why you didn't get the gig.

Just want to jump in and say I was one of the people who recommended you to them, and I have NO IDEA why they didn't hire you. I hope someone will come clean about it soon. (Their bartenders were fine, but it would have been nice to see you in action!)
