So, just so you know, the clan I'm in, Clan Charlie's Horse, is looking for more members.

What does belonging to a clan get you?

1. Three extra turns a day. We have a calendar, which gives all members 3 turns.

2. 500 meat a day. We've got a Meat Tree, which gives everyone in the clan meat every day.

3. Access to random junk, which might be useful to you. We've got a Clan Stash, where we put random stuff that we don't need, but you might.

4. A message board where you can ask questions and get tips and advice

5. Every once in a while, our Clan Leader buys stat points for everyone in the clan.

How's the chat?

I've been playing KoL for a bit now (fifth hardcore ascension tomorrow, RNG willing) and have been dithering about join a clan for a while. On the one hand, a chat space small enough that you're not bombarded would be good; on the other, I'm planning to go hardcore for quite some time (my aim is a full set of stainless steel and a full set of plexiglass, and I'm not in a hurry) so I don't get much from a clan in game terms.

What are the clan's opinions on PVP and clan warfare?

We don't do clan warfare -- I mean, we've got a Phantom Trollbooth, and have occasionally gotten bags of goodies, pretty much just to get other clans to attack us, and have to pay the Phantom Trollbooth. To get more Meat.

PVP, the clan's got no opinion on one way or the other. If you want to PVP, go ahead, if you don't, don't.

The clan chat is basically dead, which is one of the reasons I'm trying to recruit my friends. :)
