Update on wisdom teeth healing

So, my mouth feels a lot better -- still sore when I open it too far or swallow much, but I can drink soup with only mild discomfort.

On the other hand, my whole body feels like I was worked over with a baseball bat. Every muscle I have is sore, and it feels like I rented extra muscles in which to have soreness.

I suspect that I'll be pretty much fine by tomorrow, though. That's why we planned on TWO days of doing absolutely nothing after the extraction.

I am so glad that you didn't have an experience like mine having those teeth removed. It was truly horrible for me.

Yeeck. Hope you feel better soon.

I wish I could help, I know so well the feeling of pain you describe. I hope it passes soon.

I go off computer for one day and miss sending you hugs! amazing how our whole body reacts to surgery from one place. Did you do all right with the painkillers? Lis didn't mention anything more about the bucket =-]

No nausea whatsoever. Doing pretty darn well, all things considered. Need to figure out how I can go about brushing my teeth, though. . .

Yea for no nausea! That's unusual with this kind of procedure. Re the tooth-brusing issue, mayhap one of your maternal relatives could provide an answer. Your grandfather's magic solution comes to mind, although I'm not sure how fizziness would feel on your gums right now.

I just tried it, actually, and it worked okay. I held off on it for the first day and a half, because I really WANT the blood to clot and heal and all, so something with H2O5 didn't seem wise to get into too early.
