I just thought of another similarity between the Nixon White House and the Bush White House

George W. Bush asked Dick Cheney to figure out who would be a good vice-president running mate for him. The veep ended up being Dick Cheney. George W. Bush asked Harriet Miers who would be a good Supreme Court associate justice nominee. The nominee ended up being Harriet Miers.

And Richard Nixon asked Mark Felt to find out who was this "Deep Throat" who was leaking information to Woodward and Bernstein. And "Deep Throat" turned out to be Mark Felt.

Um, yeah, except that when Nixon asked Felt to find out who Deep Throat was, Felt already was Deep Throat.
