One more thing I forgot to say about the rabbit barn

One of the breeds of rabbits they had was the hotot. The Hotot is a breed of dwarf rabbit which is all white except for a band of black around the eyes. It seriously looks like a white rabbit wearing eyeliner. I've been trying to find a really good picture to show y'all, but none of the bunnies I can find on a Google Image search are quite as adorable as the ones we saw. But do a Google image search on "hotot", and you'll get the idea.

We got up to the cage, and I looked at it, and I said, "Oh, wow. It's a goth bunny."

Lis said, "Ooo! I want one! We'll put a little bowler on it and name him Alex!"

The Great Defender of Territory, Boopsie, would not be amused. Well-fed, perhaps, but otherwise not amused. What I want to see is a picture of the goose with teeth!

Oh, we're not planning on getting a bunny.
What's really terrifying, though, was we saw a few bunnies bigger than Boop.

You know I couldn't resist looking for a goth rabbit pic, so, try this link, then scroll down a bit. You'll find Jordan, a Dwarf Hotot rabbit looking for a new home. Says he'd be good for first time bunny owners....

Lookout, our youngest bunny, is a mutt who is mostly Hotot. She has all the classic markings for it. Go to www.matthewmiller.net, this is my husband's website. You want to go to the link on the left side that is the "pictures of the new girl" bunny pictures. None of them are perfect, but I suppose they'll do. I am also going to temporarily change my userpic to the Lookout user icon so you can see what she looks like when you read this email.

Yeah, but could you teach him how to sing "Singing in the Rain??" ;-)

(L'Shanah Tovah, btw!)

My immediate comment was "it's wearing mascara!"

Beware of the rabbits! Actually we loved our box trained bunny Zoroaster Bunny. He lived a long life in our shrine room and when he died he did not go into rigor mortis for 48 hours. We decided that all our buddhist practice that he sat in on got him enlightened instead of us! More power to the bunnies.
