One of the things I did not like about the movie was the way that the Guide sections seemed "dumbed down." I realize that this was in most because part time constraints required simplification but still... I thought they could have added fifteen minutes worth of Guide time and made it a better movie.
I liked the guy who played Arthur somewhat better than in the TV series, and I liked the movie Trillian a LOT better. And any movie that has Alan Rickman, even if only his voice, is okay by me.
