Down the rabbit hole

xiphiasSo, we've been spending a lot of time just sleeping, because it's winter, and there's not much to forage for, anyway. But this morning, one of the sentries started thumping, because he saw a hawk! I mean, a REAL hawk! So the few of us who were out foraging dove for the underbrush and froze, and the hawk went away.
Anyway, the burrow is nice and cozy, with many of us in it, so it's quite cozy. Obviously, it was a pain getting Verizon to run the cablemodem down the burrow, but it was very helpful, since we can now get weather reports without leaving the den! Also, typing is difficult without fingers. But we manage.
Oh, and I saw a PETA billboard which I just didn't get. It showed a mink in a cage, which is good, right? But the billboard said that PETA thought that people SHOULDN'T kill the mink?!?!?! I mean, WTF???!?!? It's IN A CAGE! Why NOT kill it? IT CAN'T GET YOU!!!
