Pour the rock salt 'round the house tonight
Everybody gonna risk heart attack
And we're gonna break your back
Everybody gonna risk heart attack

Pour the rock salt 'round the house tonight
Everybody avoid ice that is black
And we're gonna break your back
We just want to see you . . . shake that (bag of rock salt all over the black ice)

Round the club out in the town lookin' for your girl? she fell right down
Fishtail car almost full around there's a hydrant under that snow mound
Slip on sidewalk fall on my face -- please don't park THERE, I dug out THAT space

Every day I'm shoveling
Shoveling shoveling

Stand up, fall down, smack your nose down on the ground
Stand up, fall down, smack your nose down on the ground

Pour the rock salt 'round the house tonight
(Smack your nose down)
Everybody gonna risk heart attack
(Smack your nose down)
And we're gonna break your back
(Smack your nose down)
Everybody gonna risk heart attack

Smack your nose down
Smack your nose down
Smack your nose down
Shake that -- every day I'm shoveling.

Election hacked, drunken robot elected to school board

The actual paper is here, if you want to read the actual conference proceedings:
https://jhalderm.com/pub/papers/dcvoting-fc12.pdf

In short, DC did a test-run of their voting system, and white-hat hackers were invited to test it.

The degree to which the system failed, and what the white-hats did is absolutely HYSTERICAL.

A couple days ago, I was asking Lis about the fear of cats, because it's something I just totally don't get. I don't even understand how someone possibly COULD be afraid of a cat. So we looked it up, and apparently, some people are afraid that a cat will jump on them and scratch them.

I thought about how ridiculous that fear was. . . and then I looked at all the scars on my hands, arms, and shoulders from our cats jumping on me, and falling off, and scratching me . . .

Honestly, I bet that, if you laid all my cat-scratch scars out end-to-end, you'd be at somewhere around a foot/30 cm. Yeah, I guess I can't really call that an irrational fear, can I?
