Best. Cat. Toy. Ever.
Aug. 22nd, 2011 07:14 amIt's a box from Costco. We actually got two of them -- the larger held bags of limes; the smaller held boxes of blueberries. They are made of heavy, slightly waxed cardboard, with, basically, drainage holes in the bottom and sides.
We put them upside down on the floor, and Nicky lifts it up and crawls under. He can then attack out of the holes in the sides and, now, top. At this point, Nora comes over and sits on top of the box.
And then the cats bat at each other through the holes. Lis compares it to whack-a-mole.
Nick and Nora came up with this game on their own. We don't put Nicky under the box; he does that himself.
