Our cat plays fetch.
Sep. 12th, 2010 09:51 pmNicky found an old zip-tie, and he's playing with it. And he keeps bringing it up to the bed where we are, and dropping it in front of us for us to throw.
It's like playing with a Golden Retriever. It's a lot of fun for the first ten minutes or so, but then it starts to get repetitive. . .
I'm sure he'll get bored soon.
Also, he's caught and eaten a couple houseflies in the past couple days. The thing is . . . he has a battle cry for this. Well, a battle meow, anyway. Maybe more of a battle mew. He keeps charging around after flies making these little squeaking meows. I tell him and tell him that a battle cry is a bad idea for a stealth hunter.
Nora, on the other hand, stalks silently. Carefully putting each paw just so and testing her weight before moving on.
Honestly, we live with one feline ninja and one feline luchador.
