LJ Question
Aug. 11th, 2008 11:34 amIs there a way to disable further comments on an entry without deleting existing ones? I've been getting 15+ comment-spams a day to some of my entries -- and they're entries with great conversations on them.
I've been deleting each one, and marking it as spam, but the spammers can create new LJ accounts faster than the administrators can delete them -- if they even DO delete the spam accounts. Especially since it seems clear that the spam accounts are robo-accounts, auto-creating and auto-posting.
So I want to lock down the posts that the robots have found, but I don't want to lose the comments on them.
Is that possible?
