. . . oOog. . . nightmares

I've been having particularly vivid dreams recently, which is mostly okay, except when they're nightmares.

This one involved zombies. I can remember a lot of details -- the psycho scientist who locked several of his rivals in a room and infected one of them with the virus; the city being divided into "safe zones" and "dangerous zones", in which the zombies didn't go into the zones that were marked with green pylons set into the pavement, and little kids had internalized this so well that even toddlers running around wouldn't cross those lines; the fact that the local high school dance was being held, of course, at the pier which was in the dangerous zone -- but which also had polar bears, who were every bit as dangerous as the zombies, and I KNEW that, at some point, I'd be finding myself having to thread my way through the polar bears while being chased by zombies, and hoping to get the bears and zombies to attack each other.

I didn't sleep real well after the nightmares started.
