Six medium-to-largish Yukon gold potatoes
Two FREAKIN' HYUUUUGE leeks. Each one was two inches in diameter at the base. I mean, I don't think you'd be allowed to carry these suckers on airplanes under the new TSA guidelines.
Some dried mushrooms -- not sure what kind -- Lis picked 'em out.
A big chunk of butter -- maybe two or three tablespoons
Salt
Pepper

Skills that nobody ever told you you'd need, but which are nonetheless useful. . .

The ability to change sheets -- duvet, blanket, top sheet, fitted sheet, pillowcases, AND mattress pad -- with minimal disruption to your wife and cat who both fell asleep on the old sheets. Without really fully waking either wife or cat all the way awake.
