My computer's video card is flaky, so it keeps dying, and I need to reboot, about every couple of hours.

This is not good, as I need to put together a lesson plan for Hebrew School for my substitute.

The hardware reset button broke off. From overuse. After five hardware resets in a row, it just . . . broke.

I'm posting from Lis's computer. All my contact info for people, most of my STUFF is on that computer, and inaccessible. If I get a new computer, I can presumably get the hard drives out of the old one and use them: I suspect I'll be able to save all the data.

But I can't access it NOW.

Meaning that even if I DID manage to get a lesson plan worked out for Rafi for Sunday, I couldn't get it to him.

We're leaving at six or so tomorrow morning. Lis is sick, queasy, in the bathroom. We're half-packed. The house is a wreck. I've not got stuff for Rafi for Sunday, and have no way of letting him KNOW that.

I hate travel. Fucking hate it.

On the credit side of the ledger, my tooth doesn't really hurt much, and my parents have arranged it so that we are house-sitting for a college friend of theirs who will be out of town for almost exactly the dates for which we will be in town.
