According to "The Word" column in today's Globe, Trent Lott described his relationship with Strom Thurmond as "platonic."

Lott clearly did not choose the word he was looking for, and now, because Lott just denied having a sexual relationship with Thurmond, I'm stuck considering that. . .

Today was fun. A holiday open house party with one of Lis's former co-workers, which was a lot of fun, and then, after much phone tag and so forth, a movie!
