My day so far
It's the Lefton's party today, and it's a deluge. That doesn't bother us, so we're planning on heading over there in a bit.
But I wanted to get class prep for tomorrow done first. So I decided to work on class stuff until four, which is in five minutes, and I've accomplished bupkis, which is a technical term meaning "bupkis."
We went to the Kitchens Etc. bankruptcy sale and bought a little one-cup stovetop esspresso maker, that Lis wanted to see if you could make tea in, so we made tea in it, and I went to pick up the cup -- by the handle, mind you -- and burned my fingers and knocked over the cup and the little one-cup stovetop esspresso maker all over the countertop.
I ran my fingers under cold water, and went back to my computer to work on class prep, and my chair broke.
Yay.
I think we should really just go to the party, because this whole "do stuff in the house" thing seems like a dead loss.
