Shy, nearly feral cat? Kinda?

Yeah, our cat Nora, her mother was a feral, and she's always been scared of humans. Except us. At the moment, she WON'T LEAVE MY CHEST AND SHOULDER. No matter what I do. She NEEDS ALL THE SNUGGLES ALL OF THEM EVERY ONE RIGHT NOW.

It's below -10 with windchill.
And you are warm and safe for her. :)

Except ... first, it's actually pretty nice in the house, and, second, she does this even when it's summer, and hot, and sticky, and the LAST thing you want is a warm, furry being adding heat to you.

She's a sweetie. To us, anyway.

Aww. What a love. :3

I'm cheap, so my house is around 68-70 lately. I am most comfortable at 75-80, so I bundle up with blankets. :)

70 degrees plus blankets counts as pretty comfortable by my standards. And, apparently, by my cats' standards, who seem pleased once they burrow in to the bed, or sleep right next to the radiator.

Our feral cat, Smokey, who was brought in when she was barely a month old, is very fond of my chest and shoulder and hard to dislodge. She also likes laps when she chooses them, but is less clingy there.
