One thing I'll say for both our Massachusetts senate candidates:
Apparently, there's going to be some sort of ballot initiative about decriminalization of medical marijuana in Massachusetts. Both candidates were asked about it, and both Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren had similar responses: I've not studied the issue, so I don't have any opinion about it yet.
Both of them. The Republican and the Democrat BOTH believe that you're supposed to actually learn about something before forming an opinion about it.
Now, I'm pretty sure that my opinions are going to be closer to Warren's than Brown's probably 85% or more of the time. But I'm really gratified that Massachusetts breeds politicians of all parties who think that you're actually supposed to have opinions based on facts.
