Mt father was a sailor. The first boat I can recall was a Blue Jay, an 18' sloop made from a kit in our garage. Every year it needed to be sanded and varnished, so my father eventually traded up to fiberglass boats (which, until they got to be large, lived in our yard).

I have an odd assortment in my liquor cabinet, including Moniak Winery mead. Also, Appleton 151 rum (I like rum). And Manischevitz, of course.
