Ah! A kindred spirit! I use checks for monthly bills and cash for everything else. I check out the free-ATM policy on any bank before even considering doing business there. My bank even refunds up to $10 of other banks' ATM charges if their depositors are hit with them. I also avoid using "courtesy cards"; it's nobody's business what groceries I buy!
