I'm really glad to hear all humans and kitties are OK.

It sounds as though the damage to the house isn't nearly as bad as it could've been, too. I hope there wasn't any water damage in/below the kitchen where the fire was, because I've heard from others who've had fires in their houses that often the water damage is the worst part.
