Follow-up to chia thing:

After reading all of your comments that chia doesn't, or at least SHOULDN'T, taste fishy, I looked it up, and, yes, fishy smell is a sign that your chia's gone rancid. So I bought a different bag.

Much better. Still has a significant tea-like flavor, which is hardly unpleasant.
