I told Lis about a dream I had this morning . . .
IAN: "So, I had this dream that I was doing this trivia quiz, maybe something like the "Five at 8:35" [a daily trivia thing on a local radio station morning show], and the question was two parts: name an English word that has made it into Finnish, and a Finnish word that has entered into most other languages globally.
LIS: "Sauna".
IAN: It was a DREAM. My brain didn't HAVE an answer. . . . but, yeah . . . that would have worked.
Just for the record, my dream wasn't clear about whether the question was about Finnish, or possibly Lapp. In the dream, I guess "reindeer', and got credit for it, even though that's CLEARLY an English word, even if the animal is Lapp.
