I think I just talked at a friend for about twenty minutes straight without really letting zir get a word in. . . fortunately, zie is a rather forgiving person -- and was procrastinating anyway -- but I think I ought to keep an eye on that.

It could also, of course, be that it's FINALLY NICE WEATHER. But it seems like a sort of thing to keep track of.

I was thinking this about a specific friend who I was talking to, but I realized that it's true of a lot of you. This is to my friends who are EMTs and firefighters and other emergency workers, who work in hospitals, who work with people in great pain of all sorts, physical, emotional, and psychological. And it's also a thought for Memorial Day.
