Just got back from Florida . . .
You know, I've often said that the only thing I like about Florida is my family -- my in-laws, my sister, her fiance', and so forth.
But there are a few other things about Florida which are cool.
Like, last night, going outside at 10:49 PM EST, and looking up at the horizon, and seeing a genuine, honest-to-Ghu spaceship fly up over the horizon. Sure, it was just an unmanned rocket launching a satellite, but so what? It was a freakin' spaceship. And we could watch the burn as it flew up. From the other side of the state of Florida, even.
